Abeda passes her Part 2 Instructor Exam
Abeda and her husband are currently training to become driving instructors in the Northampton area. Earlier, Abeda completed 10 hours of training with a national company that uses a 'Buddy System,' pairing her with two other male trainees. As she is expecting her second child soon, Abeda found the mixed-gender group intimidating and struggled with confidence ahead of her Part 2 test.
Due to a six-month wait for the next available test in Northampton through the national scheme, Abeda opted to complete her test with Only Automatic Driving School at Gosforth Driving Test Centre.
She stayed with relatives nearby, which made the process more manageable. Abeda credits Mandy, one of our Instructor Trainers, for significantly improving her confidence and skills, stating she learned more in her time with Mandy than in all her previous sessions combined.
Unlike the national company’s ‘Buddy System,’ Only Automatic Driving School offers a One-on-One training approach, providing personalised support tailored to each trainee. This method helped Abeda pass her Part 2 test with only three minors, a result that Mandy and the entire team are very proud of.
1st time pass for Jay
Jay successfully passed his driving test on the first attempt, demonstrating an impressive level of skill and dedication. Under the guidance of instructor Peter, Jay exhibited a strong commitment to learning and always asked insightful questions that enhanced his understanding of driving.
With only a single driving fault noted during the test, it is clear that Jay has honed his abilities effectively. As a fitness fanatic, he approached each lesson with enthusiasm, maintaining a positive attitude that contributed to a fun and engaging learning experience.
Looking ahead, Jay is already planning to purchase a Toyota, signalling his readiness to embark on new adventures behind the wheel. The combination of his dedication, humour, and focus on fitness has made the journey enjoyable for both him and his instructor. Congratulations, Jay, on this significant achievement!

It's great when your students pass their driving test but better when one of your team passes their Part 3 exam to become a fully qualified ADI.
Ian was our first PDI, qualifying in double quick time. Instructor trainer Stu has yet another pass to add to his record.
