With the ever looming ban on fossil fuels at the end of the decade and the commitment of ALL of the major car manufacturers to produce Electric or Hybrid powered cars NOW, as these are all Automatic, well, it’s the way it’s going to be so it’s a logical step, the logical decision to make.

Lessons provided by Peter are 2 hours in length, we charge £70 per lesson and there is a discount for block booking multiples of 10 hours (£335) or 10 x 2 hours £665)

Lessons provided by Tony & Paul are 90 minute in length, they charge £53 per 90 minutes

It all depends. Since the Pandemic most driving schools have seen a surge in students as in most areas ADI’s (Approved Driving Instructors) weren’t able to teach for nearly 14 months. We work 6 days per week and depending upon your availability we may be able to accommodate you. The easiest way to find out is ask

We do both PassPlus courses (6 or more hours) and we do refreshers lessons for drivers who just wish to gain a bit more confidence in everyday driving

You need to be 17 years old (16 if you have a specific registered disability) and hold a UK Provisional Driving Licence. You can apply for your UK Provisional Licence either by going to the Post Office and asking for Form D1 or online https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence

you need to be at least 15 years and 9 months old to apply for your first licence

Generally we will take you to the nearest Driving Test Centre to where you live, in our case this will be Sunderland, we are fully up to speed with the Durham, Hartlepool and Gateshead test areas but will only cover these if a specific need arises and our Instructors have available space to cover these areas.

We cover Sunderland, Houghton le Spring, Hetton le Hole, Washington, Boldon and the near surrounding areas (currently). We are always looking to expand our area. We are fully trained to teach in the Sunderland, Hartlepool, Durham, South Shields and Gateshead Test Centre Areas but we generally only pick up students from the areas listed above.
